Why are your prices different than the previous owner’s?We did decide to raise the rates by a couple of dollars a night. We have done this to help us offset the cost of updating and renovating Whitewater RV Park. As our regular campers know, the park was in need of many updates. We are working hard to see to it that these are done as efficiently and affordably as possible. Updates have already been made all over the campgrounds including work on the bathhouses, plumbing, electrical systems, a complete office overhaul, and we are now working on the picking shed.
-
Why do you charge for extra people per campsite? Our prices are based on two people per campsite. As you can imagine, the more people that are on a campsite, the more it costs us to host them as more campers use more electricity, water, and general wear and tear on our park.
-
What payment types do you accept? While we DO accept cash, we’d prefer that you pay with a card if you can. We accept debit cards, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
-
What do you charge for security deposit? We charge a minimum of one night’s fee as a deposit which is fully refundable until 24 hours before expected arrival. Festival weekends require a 48 hour notice for refunds.
-
Do you have festival weekend requirements? We do have special festival weekend requirements. Since all RV parks in town fill up quickly for these weekends, we all require a minimum of three nights booked for all festival weekends in the hopes that our guests can enjoy our cozy town as long as possible.
-
Can I play my instrument with other people?ABSOLUTELY! Bring your instrument and find a circle to join! The musicians in town often play together, but always welcome one more in their groups. The song selection is usually chosen going clockwise in the circle.

What is there to do near Whitewater RV Park?Besides only being three blocks north from town square, there is a city park practically in our backyard that has a walking track, disc golf course, playground, multiple picnic areas, city pool, sand volleyball pit, soccer fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, and a beautiful stone amphitheater. There is also a nature trail that starts in our backyard that leads all the way to the Ozark Folk Center which is just a few short blocks north of Whitewater RV Park.

Do you offer storage services? While we would LOVE to store RVs as a convenience to our guests, we need to leave our spaces open for weekend and seasonal campers. We will always be happy to help you find accomodtions for your RV while you’re not using it.
-
How far in advance should I book?If you are booking for festival weekends, the sooner, the better. ALL RV parks in Mountain View fill up quickly on festival weekends. Any other time, we usually have plenty of room on a moment’s notice, but try to plan at least 5-7 days in advance if you can.

Do you sell propane? At this time (fall of 2019), we do not sell propane or firewood. These may be services we will add on in the future, but until then there are a couple of places nearby you can either replace your empty tanks, or have them refilled.

When will the picking shed be open? When we first purchased Whitewater RV Park, we decided it would be best to close down the picking shed to do some renovations on it. Due to popular demand, we will keep it open even though it’s sort of under construction until after fall festival is over. Hopefully renovations will be done by spring festival and everyone can enjoy a nice, new place to pick and grin!
